Bloody Gorgeous was created from a simple idea: having a period shouldn’t mean compromising on comfort, confidence or the planet.

For something that happens to roughly half the population for a significant part of their lives, period care has remained surprisingly unchanged.



Pads and tampons are convenient, but they’re also largely disposable. Period underwear has offered a better alternative — but we felt there was room to make it feel more considered, more comfortable and, quite frankly, a lot more bloody gorgeous.

So we decided to create our own.

Not something that looks like an afterthought.

And definitely not something that makes you feel like your period has taken over your entire day.

Instead, we focus on comfort, thoughtful design and materials that feel good against your skin, creating underwear that fits naturally into everyday life.

The average period can mean using hundreds of disposable products over a lifetime. That’s a lot of waste from something that is completely natural.

We believe reusable period underwear can be part of the solution.

That’s why we use soft bamboo fibres across our collection, chosen for their comfortable, breathable feel and as a more considered alternative to relying solely on disposable period products.

We’re called Bloody Gorgeous because we wanted to say exactly that — with a little humour, a little attitude and absolutely no shame.

We’re here to make periods feel less like something you have to hide and more like what they actually are: a completely normal part of life.
